In case an incorrect PIN code has been entered 3 times, the SIM card will be locked and mobile services are no longer possible. The SIM card can be unlocked again by entering the PUK code. Modern Smartphones will guide you through this process.
Caution: Be accurate entering the PUK code, after 10 incorrect attempts the SIM card will be permanently locked!

In case of mobile devices which don’t support the PUK reset process you need to sent the following command via the dialer:
